LibreMeeting 2007
The aim of the 1st International Free Knowledge Meeting of Madrid, «Libremeeting 2007» is to bring together and connect the main spanish characters and institutions in order to develop a free society through Free Knowledge and Free Software.
The Meeting will take place in the university residence «La Cristalera», located in the town of Miraflores de la Sierra, Madrid, during days 10th and 11th of May 2007.
This meeting has been planned to be an event in which various experts of different subjects and high profiles will get together: philosophers, artists, hackers, activists, politicians and other figures from the realm of knowledge, science, politics, art and innovation.
Through out the meeting several thematic sessions will take place organized in workshops (debates in which a final document and road map would come out for future work to be pursued); activities (continuous processes that may be visited at any time during the meeting); events and lectures.
